JeioTech participated in KOREA LAB 2024, held at KINTEX in Goyang City, South Korea, from April 23rd to 26th. KOREA LAB is one of the largest trade exhibitions in the fields of research, experimental analysis, and biotechnology, and has been held annually since 2007, marking its 18th edition this year. KOREA LAB 2024 took place in Halls 7 and 8 of KINTEX's 2nd exhibition hall. Visitors could immediately see JeioTech booth upon entering the hall, with the largest scale ever, where we had the pleasure of meeting our customers! 🥰
At this show, we showcased around 30 products, including CO₂ Incubator, CO₂ Shaking Incubator, and Pharmaceutical Stability Test Chamber, scheduled for release this year firstly in Korean domestic market. Especially noteworthy was that our product developers directly engaged with visitors at the booth, providing more in-depth explanations about the products they had researched and developed. It was a valuable opportunity to communicate users’ feedback and suggestions, fostering meaningful discussions. 🤓
JeioTech's booth was divided into six zones:

And we aimed to provide interactive experiences for visitors in each zone, allowing them to engage directly with our products.
Cell Culture & Stability Test Zone

In the Cell Culture Zone, we displayed Biosafety Cabinet (JB) and CO₂ Incubator (IC) which are essential for cell cultivation. JeioTech’s Biosafety Cabinet (JB to be released in 2024, overseas market), the only product in Korea certified according to EN 12469 standards, ensures the simultaneous protection of users, samples, and the environment during research involving infectious biological samples.
CO₂ Incubator (IC coming soon), making its debut at KOREA LAB, supports IQ/OQ/PQ validation required in GMP facilities and is manufactured using the Deep-Drawing method inside the chamber to minimize contamination and create a stable cultivation environment.

In the Stability Test Zone, we placed the Dual-type Temperature & Humidity Chamber (TH3-DG), which features separate control of two upper and lower chambers for excellent space efficiency. Also, we showcased the Pharmaceutical Stability Test Chamber (TH4-ICH coming soon) for conducting ICH Q1A(R2) and ICH Q1B tests. This offers uniform illumination throughout the entire area with specially designed filters and optimized lamp arrays.
Products displayed in the Cell Culture Zone and Stability Test Zone are widely used in the pharmaceutical/biotech industries. To comply with pharmaceutical quality regulations, they are supported by LC DataKeeper, a data integrity software according to FDA's 21 CFR Part 11 regulations. LC DataKeeper is a PC-based software by JeioTech recently released in domestic market. It ensures the reliability of data by supporting functions such as recording, deletion, and exporting of research data from experimental devices. Additionally, it provides the final approver's memo and electronic signature capabilities to secure data integrity. Recorded data is automatically backed up on the PC to prevent data loss.

In the Shaking & Mixing & Stirring Zone, we displayed various products including CO₂ Shaking Incubator (ISC coming soon), Shaking Incubator (ISS), and Heating & Cooling Shaker (HCS coming soon), and etc. The CO₂ Shaking Incubator (ISC), a new product equipped with a more stable motor platform, enables precise and stable mixing, while its UV lamp eliminates internal contaminants, ensuring a hygienic cultivation environment.

In the Safe Storage Zone, we exhibited Fume Hood, Flammable Liquid Safety Disposal System, Battery Safety Cabinet, Fire Safety Storage Cabinet, Acid/Corrosive Cabinet, and Laboratory Refrigerator. JeioTech is researching and developing various safety products to create a safe experimental environment. Particularly, the Battery Safety Cabinet and the safety storage system for flammable waste liquids generated from HPLC are new products introduced by JeioTech. (Coming soon)
Accurate & Precise Temp. Zone

In the Accurate & Precise Temp. Zone, we showcased products capable of accurate and precise temperature control, including Muffle Furnace (MF2), Vacuum Oven (OV4), Convection Ovens, Refrigerated & Heating Bath Circulator (RW3), Shaking Heating Bath (BS2), and Forced Convection Incubator (IB4 coming soon). Particularly, the Shaking Heating Bath (BS2) is a new product recently launched in international markets, and you can find more details about it Here.
JeioTech offers a wide range of products for various research and industrial sectors, so we structured the booth into six zones to show a maximum range of our products. Visitors had the opportunity to experience each zone's products and participate in a stamp-collecting event for a chance to win various prizes through lucky draws. Winners received prizes such as Apple iPads, Galaxy Buds, and department store vouchers at 4 p.m everyday. The excitement surrounding the prize draw event was incredibly high. 🔥🔥

Along with lucky draw event, we also conducted seminars on various topics, and operated a cafeteria providing refreshing beverages for visitors. It was an exhibition where we gained even more energy from seeing satisfied attendees/visitors enjoying themselves.
We, JeioTech is already planning booth for next year's KOREA LAB that will satisfy many more visitors. Apart from KOREA LAB, we also participate in various international exhibitions throughout the year, so we ask for your continued interest and participation.
