What is Funnel Shaker?
Funnels are frequently used in chemical and pharmaceutical laboratories as extracting solvent from water, extracting organic solvents, and extracting soil components. A funnel shaker is equipment that performs vertical reciprocation and is used to effectively shake multiple funnels at the same time. Therefore, the accurate control of shaking speed and safety both for the equipment and the users are essential requirements.
With all these expectations and requirements, Lab Companion would like to introduce a new model;
RS-2 series
Advantage of the RS-2 Series
Point 1. Adjustable shake tilt (0~20°)
The existing RS-1 series could only perform the vertical reciprocating motion. However, we embedded an ‘included reciprocal (90°~70°)’ function in the RS-2 series to widen the shaking area for a suitable mixture even for the lower RPMs. For a 2-liters separatory funnel, if the inclination is set as 20°, you can increase the shaking speed up to 250 RPM (maximum).
Point 2. Simultaneous mixing of up to 4 * 2L funnels
The adjustable height of the funnel holder makes it possible to mount funnels of various sizes. Each funnel of a different capacity (50 ~ 2,000 ml) can be loaded simultaneously on left, right, or both sides.

Point 3. Controller for convenience and safety in use
The controller with a display panel is installed at a 20º angle, allowing good visibility even from the floor (Ease of operation). Besides, there are safety functions to protect the user and the experiment (protecting the device from overcurrent, automatic resumption upon return of power supply after power failure). With these outstanding safeties, the users enable to operate equipment status conveniently.
Point 4. Easy sample installation and removal; stable operation
A one-touch mechanism for swift and easy funnel installation and removal, even by female researchers.
Point 5. More flexibility in experiment schedule
After setting the operation time, the operation of the shaker could stop automatically with an alarm sound (You can set it up to 999 hours 59 minutes). In addition, you can easily monitor and operate the equipment via your iOS & Android smart device in real-time.
LC GreenBox is a device that connects several pieces of equipment manufactured by JEIO TECH into a single network enabling an experimenter to operate the equipment more efficiently. After connecting the equipment to LC GreenBox, you can use the LC Connected service which enables mobile mentoring and control of the equipment’s current operating status and faults.
