Lab Companion 35th Anniversary Celebration
Greetings! At JEIO TECH Lab Companion.
On October 27, 2023, JEIOTECH celebrated significant 35th anniversary. JEIOTECH was founded with the goal of "localizing experimental equipment." Back in the 1980s, when the majority of experimental equipment used in Korean laboratories was imported, consumers faced the challenges of high purchase costs and complex service requirements. Dr. Kim Jin-Eok, the founder of JEIOTECH, recognized the demand for locally-manufactured experimental equipment under these circumstances. He, alongside scientists and engineers, pledged to develop and produce domestic experimental equipment. Through ongoing research, development, and investments, they supplied products with excellent performance and cost-effectiveness.
Beginning with the mission of " localizing experimental equipment," JEIOTECH expanded beyond the domestic market, ventured into international markets, and grew into a company with enhanced exports and global competitiveness.

In 35th anniversary celebration, approximately 280 employees enjoyed for a delightful trip to Everland, one day prior to the official anniversary.
All the staff members came together to have a great time, freely enjoying amusement park rides and interacting with charming animal companions, resulting in the creation and sharing of delightful memories.

In the midst of all the excitement, they even participated in a real-time photo mission event, proving that JEIOTECH's team is dedicated to having fun and is full of passion.
After enjoying a fall outing at Everland, the employees were treated to a delicious dinner at the Daejeon Louisvis Convention Center. This marked the beginning of the main 35th-anniversary celebration, which included a sumptuous dinner, recognition of long-serving employees, awards for the Everland event, and a prize draw.
The celebration began with a cake-cutting ceremony and a toast from the vice-chairman, followed by a delightful dinner. This was followed by a recognition ceremony for exemplary employees and long-serving staff members. Two recipients, who had been with JEIOTECH for an impressive 30 years, shared their thoughts as representatives, and their fellow employees, who are like family and include both junior and senior colleagues, warmly applauded and celebrated this heartwarming moment.
Afterwards, employees with 5, 10, 20, and 30 years of dedicated service had separate sessions with the company's leadership. During these sessions, the company's leaders expressed gratitude for their hard work, and the employees enjoyed a time of refreshments and camaraderie.
During the event, various activities such as a rock-paper-scissors contest with the company's leadership, quizzes, and other engaging events were held, and participants received small but meaningful prizes.
To close the event, Mr. Kim Gisung, the CEO, delivered a heartfelt speech. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate this meaningful occasion together and shared a message of creating a limitless future built on their valuable history.
He exchanged congratulatory greetings with the employees, emphasizing that they should continue to challenge themselves in the spirit of the company's 100-year journey. As they wrapped up the 35th-anniversary celebration, they all enthusiastically cheered, shouting, "JEIOTECH, Go Get’em!"
