In the 1980s, most of the experimental equipment in Korea were foreign-made products, and local buyers had to endure the high costs and complicated service procedures with manuals in foreign languages. Dr. Jin-Eok Kim, the founder of JEIO TECH, realized the demand and decided to make laboratory equipment in Korea with local scientists and engineers. Today, JEIO TECH has become a global supplier and well-established with 276 employees that are successfully manufacturing and developing laboratory equipment worldwide
