A lab oven is common equipment for bioengineering, chemistry, biology, food engineering, and pharmacy. It is used to those experiments such as hardening or softening experiments by heating, drying of lab-glasses, loss-on-drying testing, and more.
A vacuum oven effectively dries materials even at a low temperature using the principle that the steam pressure of solvents changes depends on its temperature. So it is used to dry samples that have a possibility of explosion when they contact oxygen, a solid medium that needs to block oxygen into it under anaerobic conditions, and samples that are difficult to dry in air pressure due to those dense tissues. The drying process in a vacuum state lets prevent to deform the shape of materials and remove solvents from compounds completely. Therefore, the vacuum oven is one of commonly used in the Electrical and Electronic field such as manufacturing PCB circuits, Biopharmaceutical manufacturing, as well as Medical Devices.

Advantage of the Vacuum oven
First, you can place an Extra shelf having the lowest height at the bottom of the inside chamber.
The existing OV series come with 2ea of shelves for 30L and 3ea of those for 65L respectively, also we offer as same for OV4. Additionally, we provide the extra shelf for OV4 as an optional accessory that can be placed at the bottom of the chamber, it makes put more samples at once.
* In case of using the extra shelf, the temperature variation and fluctuation might be increased slightly.
Second, Clear and intuitive 5-inch TFT LCD Touch controller.
The existing OV series had a controller with membrane buttons, so users had to press buttons several times to input their setting value. However, OV4 has a wide and touch screen that allows users to understand how to control intuitively, which is very convenient and makes swift use.
Third, Recording the recent 36 events such as Start/Stop operation and errors, and automatically recommend function for 3 temperatures frequently used.
Also, we add another feature that the rate-controlling function of rising temperature allows users to input the temperature rising speed (℃/min).

Features of OV4 Series:
Wide temperature control range and enhanced variation
JEIO TECH’s Vacuum oven has a wide temperature control range up to 250℃, and its insulation performance reduces heat loss in the chamber. We design the chamber operating the variation within the scope of ±1.5℃ at 100℃ to make a uniform temperature variation inside the chamber.
Three-point temperature calibration
When there is a difference between the temperature of the chamber and the temperature of correction, users can do a calibration on three-point temperature allows to guarantee more accurate temperature control.
Event
OV4 makes and saves a list showing which type of alarms occurred at what time, up to 36alrams are recorded automatically. (to be automatically deleted later.)
Convenience designed for users:
Auto-run & instantaneous power outage recovery function
Auto-run Function is to restart the operation with the memorized setting value when the power is recovered after the power failure, this function can be activated or not as you want. Even you don't activate it, the oven operates as like the Auto-run function when the power failure happens for a short time about 30seconds, you will know it from the event record.
Wait-on, Wait-off timer function
Wait-on timer is to start the temperature control when the time has passed as long as the set time, and the Wait-off timer is to activate the timer when the temperature is reached to the set temperature.
LC-Connected mobile monitoring service (Optional)
Monitoring and remote control are available through an exclusive application connecting LC-Greenbox, we offer an additional service to store device monitoring data for 30days.

The first designed CLS-Control system (patented by JEIO TECH)
It needs to pay more attention to use heating machines in a laboratory where various combustible materials are. The CLS-Control system is a controller that has a logical safety feature only for specific devices exclusively, developed by JEIO TECH researchers. This has the top-level safety grade, allows to activate the safety features as a priority even when the main controller is out of work.
Safety circuit & Over-temperature limiter
The safety circuit protects devices from over-current and over-heating, and the built-in mechanical over-temperature limiter prevents to damage the device due to overheating.
There are some cases that a fire accident happens in several university labs due to the overheating of the oven, this kind of accident can occur again at any time. For making a safe lab environment, safety is not an option anymore, but a must.
